    OU, Florida, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Stanford, Air Force, Arizona, SMU and Tulsa also are part of Wilson’s possible choices on where he will continue his football career when he graduates from Southmoore.
  • KINNEY: Coaches are being shown the money
    Stoops’ deal will pay him $30.125 million through the 2015 season. He will receive a salary of $3.675 million this coming season, but it will automatically increase by $200,000 every year.
  • Sun sets on Team Oklahoma
    The Oklahomans downed Illinois 11-3 in the seventh-place game at Noble Saturday. They finished with a 2-6 record over the five day pool-play tournament.
  • NEW: Spit decision
    The Moore High softball coach had to choose between coaching fastpitch or slowpitch next year. It’s a choice that all three high school coaches in the Moore School district had to make.
  • Double impact
    The experience they gathered during last year’s tournament did more for them than just preparation for this year’s Classic. It highlighted the areas they needed to work on during the senior campaigns.
  • Jag dominates All-State game
    McKinley joined a large group of area players that were selected to play in the game. Other players included Jaguar teammate Taylir Ross, Moore’s Leslie Martini and Holly Genzer and Southmoore’s Brittany James.

    One week after arriving in Oklahoma surrounded by a whirlwind of media activity and general curiosity, the 16-year-old Harper left the state amid the same conditions.

    While the Jaguars won the title, both Southmoore and MHS saw their own success.
