County Democrats to host Rep. Collins

The Moore American

The Cleveland County Democratic Party will host their Tyner Cornbread and Beans luncheon on Friday June 12, 2009. The event will be held at the Holiday Inn, I-35.

Representative Wallace Collins, House District 45, will present a review of legislative activities of the past session of the Oklahoma Legislature.

Representative Collins is one of the most experienced lawmakers in the Legislature. He was re-elected to his post in 2006 and again in 2008. He was born and raised in Norman and has raised his family in the Norman community. His fellow lawmakers say that he is one of the most responsive to his constituencies of all their members.

Lunch for this event begins at 11:30 a.m. with the speaker beginning about noon. Cornbread and beans or sandwich bar with chips are $7 including tea, coffee or water, tax and gratuity. The meeting is open to the public.
