GOP to host open house Friday

— The Cleveland County Republican Party is hosting an open house 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the party’s new county headquarters, 615 24th Avenue SW.
Visitors are invited to see the new headquarters and meet local Republican candidates for the 2008 election.
“Our headquarters provides an easy way for interested voters to get campaign materials about our candidates and for our candidates and their volunteers to do various campaign related work throughout this summer and fall,” said Roger Warren, chairman of the county’s Republican Party.
Punch and light refreshments will be served. Fourth District Congressman Tom Cole, R-Moore, will stop by to visit with party volunteers and candidates from 5 to 6 p.m.
